To investigate crimes of violence and abuse against children and adults including rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, child sexual abuse.
Family protection unit will investigate crimes of violence and abuse against children and adults and will maintain ongoing contact with families during the investigation. Will also liase with other agencies
on behalf of families during the investigation.
All police stations where Family Protection Units are sited have full disabled access.
