Our fundamental aim is the eradication of all forms of violence towards women and children and the structures that perpetuate them. We work with a feminist analysis that men's abuse of women and children is a result of patriarchy.
Five self-contained refuge spaces, one wheelchair accessible. Individual information, support and advocacy on a crisis and ongoing basis in relation to practical issues such as housing, legal issues and benefits and on emotional issues. Therapeutic groupwork for women. Court reports for women in civil and criminal cases. Support for women on issues to do with their children. Training available on a single or multi agency basis. Research into the experiences of abused women and their children.
Two steps into office. Narrow doorways. One refuge flat is
wheelchair accessible.
