Castlemilk Domestic Violence Project

Aims

To raise awareness of issues around domestic abuse through inter agency working and to address needs identified by local women. This is a women only service.

Services

• Support, information and advocacy for women who are living with, or have experienced violence or abuse
• Inter agency connecting
• Mentoring
• Work with local peer support group
• Training and awareness raising

Access

• Direct access or referral by another agency
• Building fully accessible with disabled parking nearby
• Female interpreters/signers by arrangement
• Advice surgeries in other community venues

W.A.V.E.S. (Women Against Violent Environments)
Can be contacted through Castlemilk Domestic Violence Project and aims to provide peer support to women who are living with, or have experienced domestic violence.

W.A.V.E.S. provides time, space and information for women to make informed choices about their lives, and offers support to women who wish to remain in the area and help women to access all services. The group meets every Monday evening. Contact Castlemilk Domestic Violence Project for more details.
