Red Road Women’s Centre

Aims

To deal with all aspects of women’s lives. The Centre offers access to groupwork, workshops and social events around various issues, health and education.

• Safe house available to women fleeing domestic abuse
• Access to legal, housing and welfare rights advice
• Access to massage and relaxation techniques
• Childcare facilities

Access

• Project is on ground level and is fully accessible
• Female interpreter by arrangement
• Translated information in French, Somali, Turkish and Arabic
• Written information available in large print
• Home visiting service available
• Surgeries in community venues
• Women only service
• Direct access or referral by other agencies
• First contact to the service must be in English
