This part of the site has information about organisations in Glasgow that can provide you with help and support to make the best decision for you or someone you know. You can also find each organisations' contact details and different ways that you can get in touch with them.

The Partnership does not provide a direct service to women, but works with organisations across the city to bring about improvements in the services which women use.

What Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership believe

We work from an understanding that male violence is endemic in our society and is both a symptom and a consequence of the gender inequalities that exist for women.

Our work is also based on the understanding that male violence takes many forms including domestic abuse, rape and sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and sexual violence against and abuse of women through prostitution. We recognise that the impact of male violence on women and their children can be devastating, complex and long-term.

We work with organisations across Glasgow to challenge male violence, as we understand that:
