If you or someone you know is being hurt at home or by a person you know you are not alone. There are people that can help to make things better.
People can be affected by violence in different ways. You might feel that nobody knows about what is happening to you or that nobody cares or maybe even that it is your fault. This is NOT true. Nobody deserves to be hit, punched or shaken. Remember that it is the abuser's fault, not yours. There are people to talk to and violence and domestic abuse can be stopped.

You might find it difficult talking to someone and it can be hard knowing what to say. It's important to find someone that you trust. If you can't find an adult to help you then keep telling until you find one that listens. If it helps you could try writing it down. The organisations on this page can help you. They will listen and believe you.
